"Agrégé-préparateur" at the ENS [2003-2007]
From September 2003 to August 2007 I was employed by the ENS, as an "agrégé préparateur", which means that I taught general physics to students preparing for the "agrégation" in physics. More precisely, I was in charge of training them in statistical physics and thermodynamics. Below are the exercise sheets I gave them over the course of three sessions for statistical physics and six sessions of thermodynamics.

Statistical Physics
TD #1 : Microcanonical ensemble
    Problem set  |  Solution
TD #2 : Canonical ensemble
    Problem set  |  Solution
TD #3 : Grand-canonical ensemble
    Problem set  |  Solution

Thermodynamics
TD #1 : Kinetic theory of gases
    Problem set  |  Solution
TD #2 : First and second principles
    Problem set  |  Solution
TD #3 : Thermodynamical machines
    Problem set
TD #4 : Thermodynamical functions and potentials
    Problem set
TD #5 : Phase transitions
    Problem set
TD #6 : Transport phenomena
    Problem set  |  Solution

My main activity however, was to supervise practical courses where students performed classical experiments in the various fields of physics. These sessions are essential if they wish to be successful in the "montage".

"Monitorat" at Université Paris VII [2000-2003]
From September 2000 to June 2003, I held a position as a "moniteur" (teaching assistant) at Université Paris VII. I supervised personal work sessions in classical mechanics for first-year students. The subjects included the fundamental laws of kinematics and dynamics of point masses, systems of points and solids.

"Interrogateur" at Lycée Janson-de-Sailly'
In the "classes préparatoires", students are trained for competitions which, if they pass the written part, include an oral part. That is why, all along the two years before the competitions, they have to endure "colles", which are mock oral examinations. The interrogators mostly come from outside the school, the education's finances being what they are. That is what I have done in addition to my usual teaching task, from 2004 to 2007 and in 2009-2010. The interrogations take place at "Lycée Janson de Sailly", where a friend of mine is now a teacher.
