For security reasons access to the laboratory network and e-mail and web services won't be available from Friday 7th, 5 pm, till Monday 10th, 3 pm, due to works on the electrical power supplies with possible failures.

Network services in august

Due to the department electric supplies works, computers and network services will be discontinued at some moments:

 

• The Altix computer will be totaly stopped from monday august 3rd to monday august 24th included.
• All network services (disks servers, e-mail server, etc.) will be stopped from thursday august 6th to monday august 10th.
• Perturbations will probably occur on wednesday august 5th in the afternoon (partial and progressive shutdown of equipments) and on tuesday august 11th in the morning (services restart and checks).
• No network on 2nd floor (D18) on thursday august 6th.
• No network on ground floor on thursday august 6th and on monday august 10th.
• No outwards network, e-mail, internet, no interconnect between  the 2nd floor and the groundfloor, on tuesday august 11th.

Electronic mail could be partialy processed during the 8th and 9th week-end, access to mail to be done via webmail only.

Be prepared to eventualy work from your laptops, e.g. have a copy of your current work, articles, etc.
