Last, one can access : ProblemsMatlab is a heavy application, graphics resources consuming. It doesn't start, or crash, when run on a loaded machine. Should this happen, the workaround is to close your tens of unused windows then restart. In fact the problems come from the «trendy» graphic environment that wraps the Matlab commands processor, user interface in Java, heavy, slow, etc. It's still possible to use Matlab as in the good old days, without Java, decorations, startup splash screen, etc. matlab -nodesktop -nojvm -nosplash the responsivity rises by a factor of 4.
